Let's be real. SpongeBob was one of the most amazing cartoons ever when we were growing up. He is still really popular today! We all have a few favorite episodes from the show, and some even turned into gifs which is everything! So here are my top five favorite SpongeBob episodes that turned into gifs and why! I have watched spongebob since it released. Every saturday and sunday my father and I would sit down and binge watch several episodes for hours. I also own the box set of the first 100 episodes of spongebob. I may know too much about spongebob and make far too many references.
1. When SpongeBob Fakes His Muscles
Spongebob as many know is a very famous show on its own. This episode is one that sticks out to me as one of the best. It has many lessons to teach you to be yourself. In this episode, we see spongebob working out, trying to get jacked. Any super fan of spongebob knows him and sandy cheeks have a huge connection. So of course he is going to try and impress her right? So what better way then to go lift weights with her and all the body building fish and other sea creatures at goo lagoon! Sadly spongebob realizes he is not as strong as the rest so he orders those muscles online, leading to a hilarious amount of issues. Lesson here is always be yourself people! Always!
2. Band Geeks!
This episode is just iconic alone. Regardless of who has it as a favorite or not. This episode was funny and creative. Squidward is determined to show up his rival, so he puts up ads everywhere to bring people in. Of course, everyone as usual seems like a bunch of idiots to squidward, so he gets frustrated and gives up. Spongebob then becomes a leader and tries to ban everyone together to make squidwards dream come true. The lesson this episode taught me was to never give up, no matter how out of reach your dreams may seem! This episode is always remembered as the super bowl half time show episode due to the amazing "music video" that follows once they arrive at the Bubble Bowl. I sing along every time.
3. I'm Ugly And I'm Proud
Now, this episode is just everything. I said it along with SpongeBob. This whole episode SpongeBob thinks everyone hates him when it is all cause he has onion breathe. Patrick then makes SpongeBob think he is ugly and that is why everyone runs away from him. I don't know about you guys, but lets be real here, everyone knows this episode. Spongebob eats a sundae he made out of his own imagination and it ends up resulting in "the ugly". This episode speaks to me in a way no other episode has. This is worth a watch. I promise!
4. The Magic Conch Shell
This one is also a classic. Well, all of these are classics. But this episode had you laughing from start to finish as our favorite idiots are stuck in the woods after Squidward gets them launched far into the forest cause he wanted to be in their club, which he denied wanting to be in their club. SpongeBob then asks a talking shell for advice and it clearly is out to get Squidward. The magic conch is something we all wanted as a kid when making a choice was to rough. I cry every time from laughter due to the look on squidwards face when it tells him no....AND even better he listens and deals with it. Who listens to a shell?! Well spongebob and patrick of course.
5. Valentine's Day In Bikini Bottom
This episode the whole day goes wrong no matter what. Which I am sure has happened to many guys or gals out there when they try to keep Valentine's Day PERFECT. It is not easy. Sometime's life happens. But SpongeBob gets Patrick all amped up only for him to be angry and go crazy near the end due to Spongebob's big surprise not to show up till Patrick almost destroys the whole day. This episode made the list cause every couple who celebrates valentines day can't say they have had a PERFECT day. No slight errors. If you can, I am surprised. This episode really made me realize nothing needs to be perfect for it to be a happy day! I enjoy patrick in this episode as you learn he does have a very large temper problem.
