We've all been to the mall at least once in our lives, and odds are if you've been to the mall you've been in or seen a Spencer's Gifts. Spencer's is known for selling adult products, but, they also sell t-shirts, gag gifts, shot glasses, and other fun items. So what are the employees like? Well here are five misconceptions people have of Spencer's employees.

1. Rebellious

Some people would assume that someone who works in a store like this must not follow all the rules, if that was the case, none of us would have jobs. Spencer's has rules for it's employees to follow just like every other employer, and just like every other employer, if you don't follow the rules you can say goodbye to your job.

2. Immoral

Working at Spencer's, I can tell you this is one-hundred percent false. Every person I work with is a good person and would do anything for someone who needed help. I know for a fact my co-workers would give me the shirts off their backs if I was in need.

3. Atheist/Non-Religious

While everyone who works at Spencer's doesn't have the same views when it comes to religion, and sure, there are some employees who are atheist or non-religious that doesn't apply to all of us. I and several of my co-workers are Christians and were raised going to church.

4. Sex Crazy

While I can't speak for all of my co-workers, I can tell you that I, myself, think sex should be shared between two people who really love each other. We're also not all into the freaky sex stuff.

5. Disappointed parents

"Aren't your parents upset you work at a place like that?" I have been asked this question before and the answer is no. My parents are proud of me for getting a job and making my own money. My dad was even excited because of all the cool band tees and other merchandise we sell. Sure, some people's parents might be a little weird about it, but in the end IT IS A JOB!

Overall, we're just trying to do our jobs, provide good customer service and make our money. We're all good people that are fun to hang out with and talk to. So, next time you see a Spencer's, go in and check out the cool stuff we sell and maybe have a conversation with one of the employees . You'll come to see we're just people, living like and making it fun.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
