Music is one of my favorite things. Music makes me feel happy and sometimes emotional. Christian and Gospel music, or as I like to call it, "Jesus music," has a special place in my heart. It makes me feel loved and hopeful. I know that if I start my day with Jesus music or turn it on when I'm anxious, I will become more relaxed and prepared to face whatever situations are coming my way. Sharing music is something that I appreciate from others and love to partake in myself. I hope these songs and lyrics bring you immense comfort and the feeling of love.

1. "O Come to the Altar" by Elevation Worship

O come to the altar

The Father's arms are open wide

2. "Hills and Valleys" (The Valleys Version) by Tauren Wells

No matter what I have Your grace is enough

No matter where I am, I'm standing in Your love

3. "Your Wings" by Lauren Daigle

With every step that I take

You are before and behind me

4. "Reckless Love" by Cory Asbury

Oh the overwhelming, never-ending reckless love of God

Oh it chases me down, fights till I'm found, leaves the ninety-nine

5. "Who You Say I Am" by Hillsong Worship

In my Father's house, there's a place for me

I'm a child of God

Yes I am

6. "I'm a Lover of Your Presence" by Brian and Katie Torwalt

You're all that really satisfies

We worship you

7. "Good Good Father" (Cover) by Jess and Gabriel

You're a good good Father

It's who You are, it's who You are, it's who You are

And I'm loved by You

It's who I am, it's who I am, it's who I am

8. "Isn't He" by The Belonging Co. feat. Natalie Grant

Captivator of the searching heart

This Jesus, so precious

Mender of a million shattered parts

This Jesus, relentless

9. "I'll Find You" by Lecrae feat. Tori Kelly

But when you got nobody to turn to

Just hold on and I'll find you

10. "You Know My Name" by Tasha Cobbs Leonard feat. Jimi Cravity

And oh, how You comfort me

And oh, how You counsel me

Yet it still amazes me

That I am Your friend

You have someone who will be with you no matter what. He's your friend, support system, and fighter. Hopefully, listening to these songs will remind you of this special fact!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
