10 Songs That Will Kick Your Seasonal Depression Out The Window

It's that time of the year where seasonal depression is at its peak. We all know that music is something that can alter our mood and change our feeling, so instead of listening to music that is going to fuel the sadness, we should try to find music that lightens our mood.

"Kill The Lights (Audien Remix)" by Alex Newell, Jess Glynne and DJ Cassidy

This song is full of uplifting beats and just makes you want to get up and dance. Even if you aren't a person usually into dance songs, this one will make you want to get up and move!

"Banana Clip" by Miguel

Miguel's voice is something that makes your heart flutter all together, but this song is undeniably super cute and groovy.

"Oh What A Beautiful Morning" by Jeremy Jordan

Jeremy Jordan makes me feel some type of way! But, his voice is just so beautiful and can't do anything other than make you automatically grin.

"Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift

Such a jam! T-Swift just makes you want to get up and dance! You simply cannot feel upset when listening to this song.

"My Girl" by The Temptations

This song is a classic! It personally warms my heart every time I listen to it.

"Valerie" by Amy Winehouse

I find that this song is so upbeat and reminds me of my roommate, which always makes me so happy.

"Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves

Come on, this shouldn't even have to be explained! Just give it a listen.

"How Deep Is Your Love" by Calvin Harris and the Disciples

We love a good, upbeat jam!

"Come On Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners

This song reminds me of certain times in my life. This is always a song we turn on and dance to, and it puts me in the best mood ever.

"Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen

A true classic that says it all! No one can stop you!

I hope these songs are there for you in your time of need like they are for me! Let's beat this seasonal sadness together. We can do it!

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
