Should I really be giving this advice? Probably not, maybe, I don't know. I'm probably the last person people would be looking for song recommendations. Which is completely valid! ...But listen to some of these songs, like dang… they're pretty good. And they're not songs that you'd regularly hear on the radio (because let's be honest, aren't we all getting a little bit tired of Shawn Mendes?).
Below is a list of 6 obscure songs that you have probably never listened to… but are great nonetheless. I honestly guarantee you that at least one of these songs is going to make it onto your playlist.
1. Tieduprightnow-- Parcels
This is the first on my list because it's my current favorite song right now...as weird as it sounds. At first, I wasn't really into it but after listening to it a few times in the car, it was pretty catchy. Judge me or thank me for this song rec, I don't care.
2. Goodie Bag-- Still Woozy
Another "obscure" that is as easily catchy as the song above. And still kind of wacky sounding...but it works.
3. Amorfoda-- Bad Bunny
I was honestly so obsessed with this song to the point where I tried to learn it on the piano. If you're familiar with Bad Bunny, this is such a completely different tone than his other songs and just so, I don't know, heartbreaking. The lyrics are so heartfelt and beautiful that you'd have a hard time believing that this song is by Bad Bunny.
4. A Solas-- Karol G
Also in love with her music. It's pop, mixed in with latin vibes but also so different from mainstream music right now. She's one of those up-and-coming Latin artists that will probably make it big in a few years. [Also, her other song, Pineapple is pretty dope too.]
5. Your Mother Was Cheaper-- Two Feet
I've annoyed some people by recommending this song and like screaming whenever I hear it nearby. This is one of my favorite songs from his, but all his songs are honestly so good. 10/10 recommend.
6. Small Foreign Faction-- Haley Blais
I literally only found this song by stumbling upon one of the artist's vlogs on Youtube. And thank god I found it because it is literally so catchy, sweet and nothing like what you would hear on the radio (which is honestly a relief).
