I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things is discovering a new song that I can’t get enough of. Hearing music that makes me smile or brings back a good memory can turn my day around. Especially if it’s a song that has been around for a while that I’ve never heard before or am rediscovering for a second time.

I’m one of those people who can replay a song 100 times without getting sick of it. Whether you need a new bop or forgot how much you like The Jackson 5, there’s a song on here for everyone. So, here’s a few songs I’ve been obsessed with lately (and maybe you will like a few too).

“I Found” – Amber Run

Notable Lyrics: “And I found love where it wasn’t supposed to be / Right in front of me, talk some sense to me”

“Color” – Finish Ticket

Notable Lyrics: “Hoping for a change / Running from the noise inside my brain / The stranger on my face”

“No One Else Like You” – Adam Levine

If you like Maroon 5 or think Adam Levine is beautiful, you will LOVE this.

“That Old Black Hole” – Dr. Dog

I have absolutely no idea what this song is about, but I LIKE IT.

“September Song” – JP Cooper

Notable Lyrics: “You were my September song, summer lasted too long / Time moves so slowly, when youre only fifteen”

“The Gold” – Manchester Orchestra

Notable Lyrics: “Couldn’t really love you anymore / You’ve become my ceiling”

“Heart It Races” – Dr. Dog

If you close your eyes, you can pretend you’re at the beach while listening to this song.

“Do I Wanna Know?” – Arctic Monkeys

Notable Lyrics: “Crawling back to you / Ever thought of calling when you’ve had a few? / Cause I always do”

“Easy Love” – Sigala

Possibly the coolest remix of “ABC” by Jackson 5 you’ll ever hear.

“Forget Myself” – Third Eye Blind

The perfect motivational song to add to your gym playlist.

“Hangin’ Around” – Counting Crows

Notable Lyrics: “These days get so long and I got nothing to do”

“Someone That Loves You” – HONNE & Izzy Bizu

Soon, you will know all the words to this song because you’ll keep it on repeat.

“I Want You Back” – The Jackson 5

Will cause you to dance on you way to class instead of walk.

“Pictures of You” – The Last Goodnight

Warning: This song will give you SERIOUS middle school feels.

“At Last” – Etta James

The song voted “Most Likely to Be Heard at a Wedding”.

“Comeback Kid” – Brett Dennen

Notable Lyrics: “And there goes my hero / He’s an underdog, he’s coming out on top”

“If I Ain’t Got You” – Alicia Keys

If you don’t like this song, we can’t be friends.

And Vance Joys entire new album, Nation of Two, which debuted at No. 1 this past week in Australia.

Or, if you don’t have time to listen to the whole album, just listen to “One of These Days” and “Saturday Sun”.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
