If I'm being honest, I've been angry recently. And not just the normal kind of angry, more like the "I could set the whole city on fire and still not get rid of my anger" angry. Maybe it's because I feel things in extremes and all I really know is violence. But I digress, I know that everyone gets angry sometimes so I thought it would be a good idea to find some songs that are perfect for the days or moments you get angry and share them with whoever stumbles upon this article.

Paranoia - A Day to Remember

I'm not gonna lie, most of the songs on this list will be some type of rock music. And what better to start the list off than with A Day to Remember? The song itself is just heavy-hitting and makes me dance like crazy until I'm out of breath and forget why I'm angry for three minutes and 21 seconds.

Sorry not Sorry - Demi Lovato

If you're going through a break-up, or being crushed by a crush, this song by Demi is perfect. Like, seriously. I'm not a huge pop fan, but I can definitely get down to this on the days I think about my ex and get angry about how our relationship ended.

I Don't Even Care About You - MISSIO

My current obsession has been MISSIO. I'm not sure why, but I'm drawn to music that would probably be played in a club when I'm angry. And this song has killer beats, PLUS with a title like "I Don't Even Care About You", how can it not be an angry song?

How Long - Charlie Puth

Charlie Puth has also been one my obsessions (so much for not liking pop, right?). But this song falls in the same category as the MISSIO song above. The beats are amazing and it makes me dance instead of breaking things, which is always good, right? (Plus it's about cheating, so this might help all of you that have been cheated on and are angry about it.)

Wolf in Sheep's Clothing - Set it Off

If you've been wronged by anyone and are angry about it, give this song a listen! It's always helped me feel better, especially with lyrics like: "Karma's gonna come collect your debt." This song is riddled with great lyrics and it's even sung in kind of an angry way, if you ask me.

It All Adds Up - Shinedown

Okay, honestly, any and all Shinedown song is just perfect for when you're angry. Brent Smith is always angry about something and it shows through his lyrics and the heaviness of the music. I chose "It All Adds Up" because it's one of my favorites, but like I said, nearly every Shinedown works for when you want to get your anger out.

Pop Culture - Icon for Hire

If you're angry because everyone is obsessed with pop culture and they don't bother being original, Icon for Hire can definitely help you with that. They have a more pop-y sound, but again, their lyrics are really good and critical of the "mainstream" in today's society.

So, if you're angry, keep at it! Just don't break things or hurt yourself/others, listen to these songs and turn your anger into some type of passion that can change the world in one way or another!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
