10 Songs That Explain School Perfectly

As you make it through your first week of classes, these songs will perfectly describe how you will feel being back at school.

1. The Final Countdown- Europe

Whether you're a senior making it through your last year or a freshman going through your last four years of schooling, we all have a final count until we are done with the endless hours of studying, lack of sleep, and stress.

2. Look What You Made Me Do- Taylor Swift

Despite how people view this song, T-swizzle has a point. College changes us one way or another. This song can be directed at your classes (for getting you addicted to coffee) or even some of your friends who told you that jumping that fence sophomore year was a good idea (it wasn't).

3.Clique - Kanye West

After a summer away from all of them, there is that indescribable moment of bliss when you finally reconnect with the whole squad and make the plan on how you guys will tackle the year together.

4. Bounce Back- Big Sean

Maybe you didn't have the best year or you didn't get the best grade in a class, but regardless of whatever happened, just remember that this is a new school year and you can bounce back from whatever happened last year.

5. Mean-Taylor Swift

This is that feeling of when a teacher assigns homework and a huge project on the first day of classes and you're just over it already.

6. Weekend-Mac Miller

At this point, we're already daydreaming about the weekends when we can go out and forget about all of our academic responsibilities- Well, at least for a good 48 hours. What day is it again?

7. Up All Night- One Direction

Who's ready to be UP ALL NIGHT... Studying... for an exam tomorrow ... that you just started studying for 5 minutes ago...

8. Closer- The Chainsmokers

It may be last year's song, but let's be real- we're all still in denial of getting older and having to adult soon. I'M NEVER GETTING OLDER.

9.Somebody- Natalie La Rose

After the first round of exams are over, we may all need to let loose a little. Who's with me?!

10. School's Out- Alice Cooper

So when is summer break again?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
