We all have those perfect songs that we listen to nonstop for weeks on end and then just randomly get sick of them. This happens to me on a weekly basis and I am not even ashamed to say that I play one song on repeat for hours on end because I love it so much. After you listen to a song for a while you start to actually hear it. The lyrics of some songs are so powerful that you think about them for hours after hearing them. Here are some lyrics that got me thinking.

If they aren't making you happy, leave. There is someone out there waiting to treat you like the royalty you are.

You're in college, it's okay to be single, it's okay to go out and have fun. You don't need to settle down just yet.

Are we the generation we've been waiting for?
Are we patiently burning, waiting to be saved?
Fight for what you want because if we all stand around doing nothing, there will be no one fighting and we will get nowhere. This generation is just sitting around waiting for everyone else to do everything for us when we should be motivated and make the changes ourselves instead of just talking about it and waiting on someone else to do the dirty work.

It's the climb
Life is hard but we must keep walking on because it is about the journey, not the destination.

It's okay to go to others if you need help, you don't have to do it all your own.

And she just wants to feel something
And I don't think that's asking for too much
Everyone is going through something that you have no idea about, so treat everyone with respect and love.
10. "Heaven Knows"- Rise Against
The day I learn to fly, I'm never coming down
You cannot make someone stay if they want to leave.
11. "The A Team"- Ed Sheeran
Nothing that's worth it will be easy and nothing that's easy will be worth it.

Don't dwell on problems that will seem small in the future. It may seem like the end of the world right now, but I promise that in a few days, months or years it will just be another thing that happened and you will hopefully have learned something.
Song Lyrics are written in very specific ways and those who glaze over them are only really experiencing half of the music. Each song is a masterpiece and we must embrace them all in order to get the full experience. Are you really hearing or just listening?
