Yes it's fun to sit back sometimes and drive long distances with your best friends, but theres nothing quite like a solo road trip to clear your mind.

1. No arguing over music

You get to listen to exactly what you want, when you want! Being 100% in control of the music during a road trip is a luxury that is rarely granted to us. There are no yelling matches over music when its just you driving!

2. You can take as many (or as little) pee breaks as you want

Face it: its no fun to be on somebody else's schedule, especially when it comes to your potty schedule. Driving long distances all by yourself saves you the time of other people needing to stop, because you only need to stop for yourself!

3. Junk. Food.

Road trip food is of course the ~best~ food. But when you're road trippin' by yourself nobody can judge your junk food choices ;) you get to choose from the best gas stations, drive thrus, and truck stops to fuel your road tripping self.

4. You can stop and so some solo sightseeing

Again, when you're driving by yourself you're on nobody else's schedule. Stopping to see some sights by yourself can be a great way to make memories on your solo trip.

5. Use this time to clear your mind

It's rare to spend a day traveling completely alone nowadays. So take this time to hit the reset button and spend of quality time with yourself. Enjoy the open road!
