Have you ever taken a class in high school or college that was really small? Did you like working in groups or did you prefer to do your own thing? Sometimes it doesn't matter whether you are in high school or college taking a small class can really help you to focus more on the subject along with actually being able to ask questions. In a large classroom filled with many people it may be hard to ask the professor the questions about a particular area then in a small classroom setting. Below are several reasons to take a small class if given the opportunity to do so, because not only does it help you focus, but it also allows to ask questions in a smaller setting if uncomfortable asking them in a large class including lab.
1. Having a small # in the class means you can actually ask questions and not feel bad about asking them.
2. If the class is a lab and there are only a few people in the entire class you may get to work together instead of being alone and sometimes this is a good thing.
3. You get to really know your classmates a little more throughout the semester.
4. The professor can be more involved in the activities/labs and be able to actually engage with the students.
6. If you ask questions in a smaller setting reoygarding the information you learned in the other class that you are taking and it relates you will not feel like an idiot for asking the question.
7. You may not care for everybody however being in a smaller class compared to a large one allows friendships/acquaintances to form and working with them seems easier.
8. You become supportive of one another and learn each other's personality.
9. It can help you to actually focus a little more.
