If there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I have some of the best friends in the world. They have taught me so much over the years that it is hard to condense it into one article, but I'll try.
I don't really like to talk about this but, there was a brief period in my personal history when I didn't have any friends. I know it's shocking because I am just such a great person with a winning personality, and clearly so modest. Here are some of the things my friends have taught me.
1. You're never alone.
No matter what they are doing or where they are, someone will always be there to talk. Someone usually has the same feelings about a situation if you have one of those friendship where you share the same emotions.
2. Secrets are no fun.
Keeping things bottled up is so much worse than sharing them with your friends. If your friends judge you because of something that you are ashamed of, then you should find some new friends. Your friends are not here to judge you, they are here to hear you.
3. Carpooling is so much better than driving alone.
I know this sounds weird, but you should always condense cars. Car rides can be so much fun with fun people and it saves on gas. I mean doesn't everyone remember the cinematic masterpiece that was Crossroads?
4. You're allowed to make mistakes.
Sometimes you mess up. It's not a big deal, just move on and do not let your mistakes get to you. You have to do stupid things in order to get experience with life.
5. Size doesn't matter.
I'm really tall, most of my friends are short, and it does not matter. We are all equally as messed up.
6. Laughter is the best medicine.
Laughter is truly the best medicine. Nothing is really that major to get upset over, so just laugh it off. My friends are some of the funniest people on this planet, and they help me get through it all.
