1. Stay organized
There is nothing worse than realizing that your assignment was due...yesterday.
2. Talk to people
Connections, connections, connections! There are so many smart, interesting, and people around colleges and universities who will not only be by your side throughout your college years, but can help you out throughout life. Be friendly, because the connections you make can last a lifetime.
3. But remember, your 20's are full of temporary people.
Always give people your best, even if means that they aren't going to do the same. Not every friendship or relationship is going to last, and that is okay. It's all a learning experience.
4. Get involved.
You don't want to look back at all of the "shoulda, woulda, coulda's" or what could have been. Be involved, find out what you like to do, who you can help, and what will help you in the future. You can find an activity or subject that you never thought you'd enjoy if you're open to trying and participating in new things!
5. Take pride in what you do.
Whether it be a big or small accomplishment, be proud of your hard work and never let anyone belittle what you're doing or what you plan to do.
6. Have fun!
These are years to make memories that will last a lifetime, make the most of them. Spend time with people, learn new things, and experience places you never have before.
