6. Any Movie By Ed Wood - Unrated
Ed Wood was a horror movie writer and director. He made some of the worst movies of all time. Yes, he was a great concept for Tim Burton's movie "Ed Wood," but Wood's produced works are some of the best train wrecks that you can watch in full through YouTube.
5. "Bong Of The Dead" - R
Yes, it is yet another grizzly spoof of "Dawn Of The Dead," but with weed. It's kind of like if the guys from "Dude, Where's My Car?" had to fight off the zombie apocalypse. The effects are cheap because the movie was only made with a $5,000 budget, however, it does have potential to become a true classic.
4. "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" - PG-13
The title tells you exactly what this movie is about. I don't think Netflix will ever get rid of this sci-fi, cheesy, 1980s horror classic. It mixes together two horribly juxtaposed concepts that just seem to go together so...flawlessly.
3. "Poultrygeist: Night of The Chicken Dead" - Unrated
This is by far my most favorite movie on this list. It has musical interludes, crazy stupid effects, and the best writing ever. This is a movie that may be a little bit hard for the average person to sit through, but once you get past the weirdness and stupidity, it is actually pretty genius...and funny!
Warning: This one gets pretty offensive at points and this movie does not reflect my views whatsoever.
2. "Troll 2" - PG-13
Nobody knows if there is a real prerequisite to this film, but it is classic enough on its own. This is probably one of the most quotable bad horror movies ever! Tyler, The Creator even paid homage to this film while he was doing his album "Goblin."
1. "A Serbian Film" - NC-17
THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR THE WEAK OF HEART!
This one is actually disturbing, dark, and could be a strange metaphor for the Serbian film industry. I even had to close my eyes for some parts of this movie because it was too graphically disturbing for me to handle. The acting is awesome and the sets are pretty good, but most can argue that this movie went too far for it to actually be considered good.
Bonus Film:
Here is a student film by Eli Roth, one of my favorite horror director/writers, however, this was never shown in movie theaters and only ended up in an art exhibit one time. I consider this to be a part of the golden age of student films. Enjoy!
