In case you missed it, movies other than Star Wars were recently released in theaters.
Sisters, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is about two sisters that are upset about their parents selling their childhood home, so they decide to throw rager as a last memory. Since Poehler's character was always the selfless, responsible one (similar to her character Leslie Knope on Parks & Recreation), this is her night to act like a reckless high schooler.
The movie reminded me of an adult version of Project X or Superbad. I couldn't help but picture my parents partying that way at their age.
The movie was funny the entire time, and featured numerous Saturday Night Live cameos that promised a laugh. While there were some jokes that fell flat, the storyline as a whole kept viewers laughing with raunchy elements to stay true to Fey and Poehler's classic fashion.
Another random, yet pleasant surprise was John Cena's cameo. Cena has popped up in other comedies recently, and never disappoints.
The party ends up getting out of hand and essentially destroying the house, thus resulting in the two sisters having to act like adults again and fix it their mistakes.
Overall, Sisters was incredibly funny and I would reccommend it to anyone that's a fan of Fey and Poehler's goofy, raunchy, SNL-type humor.
