Congratulations.

You managed to win the heart of one of the best women on earth. Sure, I'm a bit biased -- but trust me when I tell you that she is pretty special. If I know my sister, you must be pretty special too if she will agree to marry you. If she says, "Yes," it means she loves you. If she loves you, then I love you, too. Because I love her.

Because I want you two to have the best marriage possible, I have decided to write you this message. I am going to give you some confidential information about my sister. Listen to what I say; take my words to heart, and you'll make her the happiest girl on earth.

First, you should know that my sister is very trusting. She trusts people to a fault. However, this doesn't mean you can take advantage of her. She may trust, but she is not stupid. She is not a doormat. She will walk away if she needs to.

Secondly, she loves cats. This seems like a trivial thing, but it is important to her. Because it is important to her, it should be important to you too. Much to my chagrin, she'll choose a cat over a dog any day. The lazier the cat, the better.

Next, my little sister loves Christmas. She loves it. I'm not talking about buying presents or seeing how much money she can spend; she loves the little things. She will begin playing her Christmas music on the first of October, and will watch pretty much every movie Hallmark produces. She'll drink hot cocoa even when it is 80 degrees outside. She genuinely loves the season. Celebrate with her. She truly finds joy in the little things.

If you're marrying my sister, you should know that she's so frustratingly easy-going. If she says she doesn't care where y'all eat dinner, she genuinely just does not care. Knowing this will save you so much frustration. I'll say it again: If she says she doesn't care, she genuinely does not care.

By the time you marry my sister, she'll be a teacher. She loves children. She has a gentle demeanor and patience that I envy. Her heart is all in when it comes to her profession. She is gentle and kind with her students, and this is how she will treat any children you two may have. She'll not only be a fantastic teacher, but a fantastic mother.

Finally, you need to know that if my younger sister is marrying you, she intends to stay married for life. She is in this for the long haul. She will love you, and she will love the children you have together. Cherish her and be kind to her, for she will make your life better than you ever thought it could be.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
