If you know that there are a ton of assignments that you still need to do or a big exam that's coming up that you need to study for, man, do I have the thing you need to steer clear of. The newest boredom buster/party game/procrastination excuse is here, and it's here with a vengeance. YouTube, as if you don't already spend hours on end on it, has amassed a legion of videos known as "If You Sing, You Lose." The videos can last anywhere between five and fourteen minutes, and usually contain 30 second snippets of well known songs. The challenge is that the songs are usually fan favorites geared towards trying to make viewers sing. Once they sing, the video won't know that they sang along to the snippet, only the people around them. If you turn this into a game, that could be detrimental to your game if you sing within the first 20 seconds of the video (like I did). Whether you play this video alone or with your friends, it's sure to be a good time...or a good waste of time.

Here is a list of just a few of the videos you can find. Be warned: there's a chance you might want to sing every two seconds.

1.) IF YOU SING YOU LOSE (DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE EDITION)

Let's just say I lost within the first eight seconds. I will bake you cookies if you make it through all seven minutes without singing. Seriously.

2.) TRY NOT TO SING ALONG CHALLENGE (DISNEY CHANNEL EDITION)

This one is certainly a bit easier than the first, but difficult nonetheless. Here, the video mixes old "Disney Channel" shows with new ones, with a few DCOMs here and there.

3.) IF YOU SING YOU LOSE: "DISNEY CHANNEL"/"NICKELODEON" EDITION

As you can see by the screen-cap of Aly Michalka, this one's pretty difficult. I don't know, maybe it's just because I love both old school "Disney Channel" and "Nickelodeon", or the fact that the "Drake and Josh" theme song is in this one. Who knows. Good luck.

4.) IF YOU SING YOU LOSE-"DISNEY" EDITION

This one seems okay in the beginning, and then you get to "I'll Make a Man Out of You" and it all goes downhill from there.

5.) TRY NOT TO SING ALONG 2 (IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGE)

This one mashes up a bunch of great bops together. In comparison to the others, it's fairly easy, but still a challenge.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
