When we're little we all just want to be adults instead, but when you actually become an adult, you wish you were a kid again. See if you've hit adulthood by checking off these 12 things that might have crossed your mind.

1. Feeling good with having more than like $20 to live off of until the next paycheck

We're broke, like all the time.

2. Opening up a full fridge...with leftovers

Alll the heart eyes for this.

3. Canceling plans you didn't want to do anyway for a night in

I mean, why leave your cozy place?

4. Having your own possessions that aren't your parents'

It's allll mine!

5. You and your friends live in various places

This is one of the worst parts about growing up, but at least you'll have road trips to look forward to.

6. It seems like all of your friends are getting married or engaged

*fake barfs*

7. You won't let anyone or anything get in the way of your goals

Sorry, but there's a lot of sh*t to do.

8. You ask your parents for advice over your friends

They truly are older and wiser.

9. You start saving money because wow, you have nothing

There's a future out there, and you'd like to have enough money to enjoy it.

10. You say "ah, screw it" like 3 times a day

Life at this point is just one lump of wingin' it.

11. Your bedtime could be 9 p.m. or 2 a.m. depending on the day

The in-between adult life can bring long nights out or long nights in.

12. The value of family means more to you now

It's a pretty sweet thing.
