While watching movies is an activity enjoyed by all, (I'm assuming by all, because like come on, how could you not?) there is a group of us out there who eat, breathe and sleep films. You might be thinking I'm referring to filmmakers or people in the industry, but I am in fact talking about the awesome breed of person, known as the film fanatic. Being a film fanatic goes well beyond being just the average fan, it's like a spiritual duty. If you have stumbled upon this article, you are perhaps curious about this strange creature. Well, if so, below I have provided you with the five signs that indicate that you are most likely a film fanatic. Enjoy.

1. You get super excited when someone shares your favorite movie.

It's a question you probably ask a lot and get super excited when you're on the receiving end. Talking about your favorite movie is like recalling the best time of your life, and when you find someone shares your feelings, it's ridiculously awesome.

2. You never fail to use movie quotes in your daily conversations.

A true film lover is like a walking-talking reference book of movie quotes from super cheesy ones that everyone knows to obscure and strange ones that they can almost always pretend to have come up with themselves.

3. All your friends know your favorite director because you just can't stop talking about them.

They're like movie stars but so much cooler. You pride yourself in watching as many of their films as possible, and you love talking about recurring themes and symbols as if you were in a literature class. The second their names are mentioned, you instantly turn into a fanboy or fangirl.

4. Your Netflix list is extremely long and it never stops growing.

You are constantly adding things to your list to the point that it doesn't matter how many films you watch in a day. It will still have a ton of titles you are yet to enjoy. You love looking through all the options to see what catches your eye and you're always asking friends for suggestions.

5. You always want to "Netflix and chill" instead of anything else, but you mean it literally.

Watching Netflix may be America's pastime, but for a film fanatic, it's a religious duty. Like I mentioned above, your list is probably huge, but it doesn't end there. You probably have the streaming service connected to a diverse set of devices. Your idea of a relaxing break from school or work is being able to watch as many films as possible, even when you are spending leisure time doing something else that is fun and exciting, and all the movies you could be watching are in the back of your head.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
