Occasionally spoiling yourself is a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle, something that as college students, we tend to lose practice of. In the culinary realm there are plenty of ways to treat yo’ self; fries are a popular option and extra large pizzas should be appreciated as well. However, if you find yourself craving seafood of the most fun variety then it is only natural that you’d gravitate towards sushi.
As of late, business owners have taken a notice of this collegiate sushi craving and have catered to the area in the appropriate manner. The big three in sushi dining for a Case student are Pacific East in Coventry, Kenko, and Dynomite Burgers and Sushi. So for all of you unfamiliar with these places and require guidance, don’t worry, I got your back.
Kenko is the most recent installment of local restaurants that specialize in sushi. The atmosphere is fun and the interior design is something to be appreciated over Dynomite’s. Why is that relevant? Everyone knows that food tastes better when the environment is better. What’s more fun than eating good food? Eating good food in a fun environment. Now, onto the sushi.
The sushi is enjoyable. The menu has a variety of what’s promised, sushi and teriyaki. You definitely get a bang for your buck, so if you happen to find yourself on a budget while craving sushi, this is the spot.
Pacific East in Coventry is a fun environment and is a great experience from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. The staff is interactive and they definitely know how to feed you. Their menu is full of options of many varieties and eating here is definitely a treat.
Straight up, their sushi is the best tasting out of the three restaurant options. If you’re looking to spoil yourself I urge you to make the short trip to Coventry. You won’t regret it.
Dynomite came onto campus a little under a year ago and has been successful in attracting people with it’s variety of seating options and an atmosphere that borders on that similar to a sports bar. Their menu is witty as it pays homage to local food joints by naming their burgers after them.
When it comes to their sushi, however, it’s definitely not bad at all. It’s just not worth the price tag they attach to it. Honestly, you’re better off getting a burger.
