Shopping is a real addiction...

Shopping is an actual addiction and yes, I do have a problem. I love online shopping, store shopping, window shopping and about any other kind of shopping I can do. Shopping is my outlet despite my tight summer budget. If you have or still do love shopping you can most likely relate to the following things:

1. Finding any excuse to shop:

Shopping is my outlet. I can do it day and night. If my black clothes are not exactly the right shade of black... better go to the mall and find the matching shade. Shopping always makes any day better, especially when you find the perfect clothes.

2. Sales

Finding the perfect sale makes you feel blessed. Getting 5 shirts for the price of 2 is a shopaholics dream. It feeds the very real addiction. Sales are great, but let's be honest, I was going to buy that shirt whether it was on sale or not.

3. Brands

Do I have to say much more? Brands are a girls best friend.

4. Some people scroll on social media and some scroll through online stores

Friends bonding over shopping create the strongest friendships. Sharing tips, opinions, and even picking out clothes for one another creates a bond like no other. Some friends like to go clubbing, to the bar, or out to eat. Other's like to spend their Friday nights shopping.

6. Did I even buy that?

Your closet is full of clothes upon clothes. There's a point when you can't even remember if you bought that or not. When tags are still hanging from your clothes, you may have a real problem.

7. Paycheck never actually reaches the bank

The struggle of trying to spend your paycheck on actual bills instead of shopping is real. I may know that I need to start saving or investing my money, but shopping is an investment I can wear now.

8. It makes me happy

Shopping makes me happy. Finding the perfect outfit is a thrill I seek and is one of the best feelings. I always enjoy shopping and I honestly love it. After all, life is too short to do things you love, even if it is an addiction.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
