Shawn Mendes Teases New Era

Here's what we know so far about Shawn's new single and album coming soon.

After a year since his hit-single, Senorita, and over 2 years since his last studio album, Shawn Mendes the Album, fans were wondering when the artist would release his new music and no one expected it to be coming now. On Wednesday afternoon, singer/song-writer, Shawn Mendes shocked the music industry by dropping a minute and thirty second video that showcases his new single, Wonder. Along with the video was the release dates of Wonder and the up-coming album. This Friday, October 2nd, will be the release of his first single and December 4th is the album release date.

From what we can see in the video, Shawn is showing the world a new side of himself and transforming into a different musical era. There are plenty of Easter eggs throughout the video that are being analyzed by fans now. Shawn and his team made this step even easier by providing a link, www.whatiswonder.com, that allows for an interactive 360 model of the video set and all of the props are on full display. The website also brings you to new merchandise that are being sold world-wide. Another cool feature is if you text the number on the setlist sheet, you will be on Shawn Mendes's text community where he can reply to your messages and provide updates for the next big news. There is a lot more to unpack with the drop of this teaser video, but according to Shawn we are one step closer to Wonder and there is more coming soon!
