School can be amazing and fun and interesting at the same time that it can be stressful and difficult and torturous, but the overall experience is one to be appreciated. You may lose sleep and question your sanity from time to time, but you will leave your education behind having learned a great deal. Whether you are in middle school, high school, or college, you probably have experienced several of the following things, told by one of Freeform's newest hit shows Shadowhunters.

1. When your friends are concerned for your well-being upon seeing you passed out on the floor surrounded by a mass of papers.

2. Getting annoyed when someone asks a lengthy question right as class is about to end

3. When you miraculously begin to understand the material and feel a spark of hope

5. Needing to get away from school and everything associated with it

6. When you stay up all night studying and are ready with an intensity for the exam the next day. Bring. It. On.

7. When you contemplate skipping class, but your studious inner-self forbids it

8. When you are describing writing an entire essay the night before it’s due

9. Jamming out to de-stress after a long day of classes

10. When you come back after a sick day and suddenly your class is five chapters ahead and you have a project due

11. When everyone decides it’s appropriate to move like slugs to their next class

12. When you scan the first page of a test and swear the teacher is writing in riddles

13. Pulling an all-nighter and coming to school having forgone showering, brushing your hair, and basically anything that makes you look presentable.

14. When you feel like you just finished studying for one test, and find out you have another one

15. When the teacher calls on you when you're daydreaming

16. You live on coffee or tea

17. When someone says you are a major procrastinator

To them:

To yourself:

18. When your teacher describes one concept by using another concept that you don't understand

19. When you catch someone looking at your assignment

20. When it’s the last day of classes and you can finally throw out all of your school work (or burn it, whatever works for you)

You made it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
