October is the #spookyszn time of the year, so what better way to celebrate than with the scariest movies on Netflix.

The Conjuring

If you're a Halloween fanatic like me, you love this time of year. These movies are not listed in any particular order, because the best one will be up to you to decide. All of these I have either seen or they are on my list to see. Enjoy getting your spook on.

1. "As Above So Below"

A group set off to the catacombs to discover a new world. What they didn't know is how frightening that world would be. If you get claustrophobic easily this may not be the one for you, but it is definitely worth the cringy feeling.

2. "The Conjuring"

This movie is inspired by true events from The Amityville stories. Two paranormal investigators help a family who have unexplained happenings in their home.

3. "Last Shift"

A new police officer is alone guarding a spooky old station. The loss of her dad continues to haunt her everyday, but during this night, much more is out to get her.

4. "Dig Two Graves"

Making a deal with the devil won't bring her brother back, but she doesn't know that.

5. "Clinical"

Although haunted by a former patient, a psychiatrist continues on treating new patients. What she didn't realize is how life-changing her new patient would be.

6. "Demonic"

Some friends set out to find paranormal inside of empty houses, but an investigator with have to put the pieces together that they didn't.

7. "Oculus"

Revisiting their old home, the two siblings discover through a mirror what true horror lies there.

8. "Clown"

Putting the costume on was supposed to be fun for the kids, but it ended up being a dreadful mistake for the father.

9. "6 Souls"

A psychiatrist soon discovers how not just one person can live inside of one body and how a few others will turn to victims.

10. "Before I Wake"

A couple adopts a young boy whose dreams turn real...and so do his nightmares.

11. "Delirium"

A man moves back into his dead parents home and quickly realizes he's not alone.

12. "The Babadook"

Her son's fits turn evil and she worries for her life.

13. "The Reaping"

The main character turned away from God after becoming a minister, but once she sees biblical plagues before her eyes, she might want to reverse her decision.

Whether you are used to scary movies or not, these 13 movies are bound to creep you out. Have fun giving yourself a big scare while enjoying the best month out of the year.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
