We all know that fall colors change slightly every year, maybe a different orange or beige or brown. But guess what? Joining the fall colors in 2017 is pink! Say what? I know, right?!

Along with some other not very traditional fall colors, Pink is officially joining the fall family. (hand claps) So, for y’all pink lovers out there who dress in season, congratulations, you can wear pink in the fall. For y’all who don’t dress by season, you keep doing you.

My roommate was the first one to notice the trend. A lot of bloggers she follows on Instagram are wearing hot pink sweaters. Three is a trend, right? Anyways, she definitely saw more than three wearing pink sweaters.

So I looked up the official Fall color on Pantone.com and indeed, pink is on the list. But not hot pink, it’s Pantone color 13-2808 Ballet slipper. Delightful name, even more delightful color, it is described on Pantone’s Fall Color Report 2017 as "Descended from the Red family but with a softer touch, Ballet Slipper is always flattering and reminiscent of the rosy glow of health."
