I'm not really one for motivational quotes. I think they tend to be cheesy and fake, but these sassy motivational quotes are funny enough to start anyone off on the right foot. The first week of the semester can be tough so a little motivation never hurt anyone! I like to put a funny quote like this in my planner every week to keep me on track. With all this motivation on hand, the Fall semester should be a breeze.

1. Kicking ass and taking names.

Don't mess with me I'll take you down.

Sometimes doing your best means beating other people out for things, and thats okay too.

2. Try me not why me.

But like try me, really.

This is one of my favorite sassy motivational quotes. Life is gonna give you lemons, might as well make some lemonade.

3. Don't let idiots ruin your day.

Nobody can ruin your day but you.

Yep, everyone is annoying, but the best way to deal is basically just keeping them out of your way.

4. If you don't like where you are, move. You aren't a tree.

Change is scary, but change is important.

Being stagnant can sometimes put you in a bad position, the good thing is you can always make a change.

5. Why chase something when I'm the catch?

When you're ready come and get it.

Ya'll should be chasing me.

6. It's okay if you don't like me, not everyone has good taste.

Not my fault you don't know a good thing when you see it.

This sassy motivational quote also really speaks to my soul. No matter how nice you are, or what you do someone will always not like you.

7. Didn't care yesterday, don't give a shit today, won't give a fuck tomorrow.

Life motto: not my problem.

Life your life and I'll live mine.

8. Don't be a chaser, you are the tequila.

Your spunk is important.

You should need a chaser for me tbh.

9. You can't act like a flip flop and expect to be treated as a Louboutin.

Flip flops do the dirty work.

This is so important! You have to respect yourself so others will treat you with respect as well.

10. 5'2 but my attitude 6'1.

I have a lotta personality in a small body.

Small people can be powerful too!

11. If I was meant to be controlled I would have come with a remote.

It's my life and I'll do what I want.

No one should be making your decisions for you, only you can do that.

12. Kill them with success and bury them with a smile.

Doing good for yourself shouldn't be a crime.

People get jealous of success, but that's their problem and not yours.

13. I meant to behave but there were too many other options.

Naughty but nice.

This sassy motivational quote always makes me laugh. Sometimes the best option might not be the "right" one, but thats okay too.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
