My Letter To Santa

You are never, ever too old to write Santa a letter during Christmas.

My Letter To Santa

I thought I would get into the spirit and write a letter to Santa during the Christmas season. You are never too old to write down all the things you want in letter form, addressed to the big man up north.

Dear Santa,

First, I want to thank you for the many years of presents you gave me and my brother. There are so many presents I will never forget waking up to. You gave me something to believe in for many years of my life.

I don’t want you to ever stop the hope you give children every year. It’s something every little kid needs in their life. It is the best feeling in the world to wake up to presents under the tree and to have the milk and cookies gone.

This year for Christmas I do not want a fancy camera, a new phone, or new clothes. I just want my dad to get a job, for my brother to get everything he wants, and for me to go to college. Things have been tough for us, as they are for everyone, but my family deserves a break from the rough patches.

Also, I want you to give every other kid what they want for Christmas. You gave me many years of gifts, and there are so many kids out there that deserve a great Christmas. The holidays are such a great time, especially when you are a kiddo. Although I still consider myself a kiddo at 18, I don’t need the joy of gifts to be happy for the holidays.

So, Santa, go be awesome for other little kiddos.

Love,

Taya

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
