Nike introduced the short in 1995, a picture of Jessica Simpson in a pink pair in 2007 started the craze. The Tempo Tracks are Nike’s best-selling running shorts with consistent sales across the country. So this RUMOR has to be just that, a rumor…RIGHT? 

Looking around on the first day of school I would say the percentage of girls wearing Nike shorts, was over 50 percent. They are a college girls staple, Nike shorts and oversized t-shirt. Come on, who wouldn’t want to wear them, they’re extremely comfortable, and I mean…LADIES we all know when and if already that the freshman 15 has come to bite us in the butt! Yet Nike shorts are always there to hide our new and “improved” curves. They come in any color and combination you can imagine, no ironing ever needed, they are dry fit. 

Girls if the rumor is true, what’s our next trend? I’ve seen a glimmer of overall shorts around, but are we really ready to give our big t’s up too? Because I know that just wouldn’t tuck in well and would make going to the you know what WAY too difficult. 

So what to wear? Honestly that’s a good question because for me Soffee's are just not an option. Looks like if this rumor is more than a marketing scam, its time for even bigger shirts and spandex. But I don’t know about yall but Dicks Sporting Goods is just about to hit the jack pot because if this rumor is more than just a rumor, there’s no other option I HAVE to go and stock up! Because there is no other option.
