We all know and love Ross Geller...well...some of us love him.

"If it weren't for Rachel, I'd get rid of him first!"

We've all been asked the question about which Friends' character we could do without, and only some of us can conjure up the heart to answer. It's just too impossible. But Dr. Ross Geller, Paleontologist, does have his irritating moments.

And while we are on the topic of things we could do without, we are now well into my least favorite month of the year: November.

It's getting too cold to have those fall bonfires that everyone looks forward to, but the spirit of the Christmas season is not yet in the air. Yes, Thanksgiving is one of the greatest days of the entire year, but other than that, November is just dull. End of semester projects, finals looming, packing to go home--the list never ends.

Here are 9 times Ross Geller perfectly summed up November:

1. It starts to get dark at 5:30 in the afternoon.

2. It drops below 40 degrees for the first time.

3. Around mid-month, you start sending the frantic texts to siblings about what to get mom, grandma or smelly, old Aunt Jean for Christmas.

4. Speaking of mom, she calls and asks how school's going.

5. Then she reminds you how many days there are until Christmas.

6. You get back from Thanksgiving break and your professor starts talking about finals.

7. And then has the nerve to throw in a final paper along with an exam.

8. As you look at your calendar, you realize there's only one month left until 2018, you haven't accomplished your goals for 2017, and it still feels like it should be 2012. You don't know how everything went so wrong.

9. But then December comes, you finally make it through finals, you get to go home, and Christmas finally comes.

If Ross can make it through three divorces, you can make it through November.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
