Eufy’s RoboVac X8 Sweeps the Competition With New Trend-Setting Technology

With double the power, storage, and fun, Eufy’s latest smart yet sophisticated vacuum is sure to blow its consumers away with advanced new features. Weighing less than eight pounds and a height of 9.5 cm, it is small enough to fit under any furniture. The X8’s Twin Turbine technology produces a 4000 PA suction for a powerful pickup of 56% more dust, dirt, debris, and hair than its predecessors.

New to Eufy’s spectacular lineup of robotic vacuums is its iPath Navigation which uses laser technology to accurately scan the room and clean as efficiently as possible while avoiding obstacles such as large furniture. A detailed map is sent to the user’s account on Eufy’s app where they can see progress in real time, create a cleaning schedule, and set boundaries where the robot is not allowed to go. The Robovac can store maps for up to three floors at a time in the home and through AI can immediately determine which room is in its field of vision, even in a dark or low-light room. With the tap of a button on the app, the user can immediately send the X8 anywhere in the home to clean a specific area if messes suddenly occur.

After testing the X8 in a wide-variety of cleaning situations, I am pleased with its performance on every level. While its competitors can produce loud, ear-splitting sounds, the X8 produces a soothing sound no louder than a small air conditioner. The outstanding BoostIQ feature will automatically adjust to the ideal suction power depending on the type of floor to ensure efficient cleaning. This feature was perfect to use when going from thick carpet to hardwood floors in my home. The redesigned rolling brush allowed for precise cleaning in between small spaces. Its three-hour battery life allows for swift, continuous cleaning of my house leaving my floors flawless.

This year, Eufy has also released the Homevac H30 Mate, which provides a perfect sidekick to complement the X8. It is a tiny, tri-powered cordless handheld vacuum perfect for cleaning cars, couches, and other places that the robotic vacuum can't typically reach. Weighing less than two pounds, the H30 is easily storable on a wall or hidden in a cabinet thanks to a 3 in 1 charging station which holds the device and two additional accessories: a mini motorized brush used specifically for picking up pet hair, and a crevice tool used for cleaning small spaces.

It’s easy to turn on with a push button at the top of the device and features two power modes: Max produces the most powerful suction with up to ten minutes of cleaning and eco is a mid-range suction power with up to twenty minutes of power. Thanks to a large dust bin, stainless steel cover and washable filter, Eufy makes cleaning the device a care-free experience. While the device is somewhat noisy, The 100,000 RPM motor gets the job done with ease thanks to a strong suction to pick up any dirt, debris, or crumbs that comes its way.

Both the RoboVac X8 and Homevac H30 Mate are available to purchase on Eufy’s website.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
