There is no doubt that Rihanna is one of the most successful pop stars of our time. How can you not love her? You can't knock the influence that she has on pop culture and the entire world. Though I may be a bit biased, I can guarantee that shes 10 times better than whoever you consider your "fave" to be. Let me tell you why:

1. She doesn't conform.

Rihanna exemplifies that you don't have to abide by what society says feminity should be and that it's okay to be yourself. You don't have to be ladylike if that's not you. Show off your tattoos, speak up for what you believe in and be a "big-shit-talker" like she is.

2. She does what she wants.

Who else do you know that can step out in public with a glass of wine or blunt in their hand? Rihanna plays by her own rules and no one ever questions her about it.

3. She is a philanthropist.

Just last year she was awarded Harvard's 2017 Humanitarian of the Year. Some of her work includes having a state-of-the-art center for oncology and nuclear medicine to diagnose and treat breast cancer in her homeland of Barbados. She also supports the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen project, providing children with access to education in developing countries.

4. She is an entrepreneur.

Though it only dropped months ago, Rihanna has had huge success with Fenty Beauty, her cosmetic line that she launched during New York Fashion Week. As many cosmetic companies cater to women with light to medium skin tones, Fenty Beauty foundation made headlines for its incredible range of 40 shades!

5. Her music.

Our first introduction to Rihanna was obviously through her music, with her first single being "Pon de Replay" in 2005. Ever since then she has been marking new milestones.

Just recently she was named the first female artist to pass 2 billion streams worldwide on Apple Music. Also, her album "Anti" now holds the most number 1 singles in Dance Club Songs chart history.

6. She is the clap back queen.

Speaking your mind includes checking people when they come at you with disrespect. Rihanna is known for "clap backs" when people decide to get out of line.

7. She is independent.

Though the success of her music and entrepreneurial endeavors can speak for themselves, it's safe to say that Rihanna is a BOSS and doesn't need a man to back in life.

8. She is the OG.

A lot of trends that have become popular can honestly be traced back to Rihanna. I didn't see many people getting sternum tattoos or henna tattoos on their hand until after her. People try to imitate her image/style..*cough* Kyl..nevermind, but no one does it like Rihanna.

9. Her style is unmatched.

As I stated, no one has a style like Rihanna. She makes just about anything look good. An outfit could look a complete mess on someone else, but the moment Rihanna throws it on it becomes stylish. She'll win the "Who Wore It Best" contest every time.

10. She's encouraging.

It's no secret that Rihanna loves her fan, or "Rihanna Navy." She often communicates with fans through social media, offering words of encouragement to those who need it the most.

There is nothing anyone can say or do to knock Rihanna off the thrown of being one of the greats. Her aura and impact is leaving a strong mark on the world and she will forever reign Queen of Pop Culture.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
