My thoughts on how the concert went.

Last Friday, I went to the Twenty One Pilots concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, and I can honestly say that it was one of the better concerts I have been to. They have such emotion behind each song and you can tell that they really enjoy performing for their fans. I mean they even have the word emotional in their tour name which is called the Emotional Roadshow. Twenty One Pilots is a band consisting of Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph, and they're originally from Ohio. These guys are a lot of fun to be around, and you can tell that they appreciate their fans by the way they interact with the crowd.

The openers were really good as well they started out with Chef'Special and continued with MuteMath. Chef'Special really pumped up the crowd by being energetic and playing dance along music. MuteMath was more calm compared to the other opener, but was very good and pumped up the crowd for Twenty One Pilots really well. These two lesser known bands performed three or four songs each, and then it was time for Twenty One Pilots.

They started the concert in a positive note by starting out with "Holding On To You" which really pumped up the crowd for the rest of the night by popping in and out through trap doors and showing up randomly throughout the crowd. They continued with a lot of their newer songs from their album Blurryface like "Migraine" and "Polarize." They then changed stages and performed a lot of older songs that they hadn't been preformed live in years. It was very exciting and the crowd loved it. You could also tell that it meant a lot to them to perform these older songs because the songs were basically the foundation to what they are now. They used to perform in crowded basements for locals and here they are now on a stage in front of thousands of fans, and they get to travel all over the country and all over the world.

Josh and Tyler then moved back toward the first stage and performed their more famous songs, "Stressed Out" and "Ride." This is where the crowd went nuts, mostly everyone has heard these songs before, and they definitely knew it would make the crowd excited. During this time, they also had some more fun and interacted with the fans near the stage. They brought out a giant bubble ball and had Josh jump in it and run on top of the crowd like he was crowd surfing. It was really cool to watch and I'm sure even more exciting to be a part of. Then they closed with my personal favorite: "Car Radio," which was very emotional. I know I keep using that word, but each one of their songs has a deeper meaning and I feel many of us could relate to the lyrics. For the last part of the song, they had Josh run to the second stage again and stand on top of a very tall platform and the crowd went crazy. They sure knew how to end a concert with an antsy crowd wanting more, because they did end up coming back for an encore, ending with "Goner" and "Trees."

The Twenty One Pilots concert experience was definitely one for the books. And I encourage all of you to go out and see them live and really get to see what they're all about. They are more than just their most popular songs, as is every artist, so go out and experience the Emotional Roadshow World Tour that has captivated so many hearts out there.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
