Pine trees are tied down to the roof of cars as they drive down the road,
Ornaments are dug out from the boxes and boxes of supplies,
Colorful festive candy lay on shelves upon shelves in the aisles,
We turn on the radio and what we hear,
The same Holiday music as last year.
I wait in anticipation for the unanimous decision that, "yes, you can play and listen to your holiday music, and we won't judge you anymore." While others might roll their eyes and groan saying, "here we go again, another round of repeated holiday music on the radio and grocery stores."
Last year I wrote a listicle titled the "Ultimate Holiday Playlist," which included popular songs, covers of hit songs, and some you haven't heard of. This time, I introduce you to the list of new songs that are yet to be overplayed on the radio and will put anyone in a holiday joyful mood. It is the holiday season as we can all agree.
1. Puppies are Forever- Sia
An important message that we seem to forget when it's Christmas. Puppies aren't just a gift that you can forget; they are part of the family.
2. Ho Ho Ho- Sia
The random sound effects in the song really brings the song to life and probably describes any crazy family gathering. You bring all the family members together for one night and expect the night go the way we all planned it would (which it almost never does).
3. You Make if Feel Like Christmas - Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton
Sometimes it's not the tree, or the shining lights that make it feel like Christmas, it's the person that we are with. The upbeat drum beat in the beginning will put anyone in the mood to start dancing or singing out loud.
4. Time to Fall in Love -Lindsey Stirling and Alex Gaskarth
The sweet sound from violin fits well with the rock style of Alex Gaskarth. It kind of reminds me of two people who are completely different who accidentally fall in love with each other.
5. My Gift Is You- Gwen Stefani
It's like the spin on the message from "All I Want for Christmas Is You," but with a slower tempo, but with the same message that "you" is all I need for Christmas.
6. Snowman- Sia
A calming song about spending time with our cold friend while we slow dance.
7. Coming Home to You - American Authors
This song is for all those long distance relationships, I hope your loved ones comes home to you for Christmas.
8. Christmas C'mon - Lindsey Stirling and Becky G
Song that describes everyone who is waiting for their "favorite holiday."

Everyone can now enjoy holiday music without the worrying about listening to the same songs over and over again with these new songs. Holiday music really makes it feel like Christmas, but the best person who said it was Buddy, the Elf.
"The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear." -Buddy the Elf, from the movie Elf.
