15 Ways To Relax Before Your Final Exams
Personal

It's that time of the semester again where everyone is stressing the f*ck out and nobody knows what's going on. This time, I'm not stressing out though. Yes, I still have a lot of assignments to get done and plenty of studying to do but I know that in the end, I'm going to get it done. In one week, I will be done with my junior year of college and that motivates me to keep on chugging. As the weeks have gotten closer to finals, I have had to take a step back and breathe more than once. Here are some other things that I have found helpful when it comes to trying to relax.

Go on an accidental 4-mile hike.

Take a drive with the windows down and the music blasting.

Watch your favorite movie or tv show.

*cough* *cough* "Game of Thrones"...

Drink some wine or tea.

Take a bath.

Color in a coloring book.

Catch up on sleep.

Go shopping.

Cuddle with your pet or go to Landis and cuddle with someone else's.

Clean your apartment.

Sing and dance along to your favorite playlist.

Workout.

Meditate or do yoga.

Chill by the pool or go to the Rez.

Read poetry.

I remember how exciting summer was when I was a kid. I would just be eagerly waiting for school to end so that I could fly to some exotic location with my family for the summer. Or hang out with my friends every day. Or just lay around in bed or read, paint, draw, basically do whatever.

Remembering the Memorial in Memorial Union

Sometimes it's hard to remember that Memorial Union at the University of Missouri is actually a memorial, not just a place to take a nap on a couch and get Starbucks.

Soccer, Spain and Racism

When we think of events that have transpired in the US over the last few years, a lot of it ends up in spotlighting the division in the country. However, things across the pond seem to be no better - at least when it comes to sports. Last week, Real Madrid - arguably the richest sports franchise in the world, had one of their Brazilian strikers subject to vicious racist attacks in Valencia. The player, Vini Jr posted this example video in his Insta account:
