Here's a tribute to the classic, as Netflix decides to take it off come November.

This week, the list of shows and movies that will be added to Netflix was released. I got excited as I browsed through my new ways to procrastinate more important things. However, as I went through the list of tv shows leaving in November, I saw one too familiar. How I Met Your Mother, by far my absolute favorite tv show, is leaving Netflix.

Relationships revolve around the show. Someone is always in a relationship, and some form of drama comes with these relationships. In honor of the show that I have spent countless hours watching and rewatching, here are the best and worst relationships from the nine seasons of the show. (Warning: Spoilers ahead.)

Ted and Zoey

This a very sticky relationship from the start. Zoey is protesting against a new building that Ted is running. It is his dream to have his own architecture in the New York City skyline, so the fact that Zoey is against that is not the healthiest way to have a relationship.

Robin and Kevin

Kevin is initially Robin’s therapist. So once Kevin decides he likes her and can no longer they be her therapist, they begin to date. He has very deep feelings for her, but they are not reciprocated because Robin still has feelings for Barney.

Barney and Quinn

This is a very interesting relationship from start to finish. It never seems very serious, until Barney suddenly proposes to Quinn, and they are looking to get married. Quinn and Barney attempt to negotiate prenuptials, and realize after intense fighting that they do not trust each other. The engagement is then broken off.

Ted and Stella

Ted first meets Stella when he has to get a butterfly tattoo removed. Throughout his sessions, he tries to flirt with Stella and convince her to go out with him. Eventually, he is successful, and they have a steady relationship. They progress, and then Ted decides that Stella is the one and proposes. They stay together all the way up til wedding day. Stella leaves Ted at the altar for the father of her child.

Ted and Victoria

Victoria, in my opinion, is one of Ted’s more stable relationships. They meet at a wedding and have an amazing relationship until she leaves to follow her cooking dreams in Germany. The long-distance relationship blows up in their face. Even though they do eventually meet and date again, it was never the same after Victoria left for Germany.

Robin and Ted

So, I know that everyone thinks Ted and Robin are supposed to be the couple, and they should end up together. While they do essentially end up together, I feel their relationship was way too dragged out and they no longer had the same love for each other that they once did.

Ted and Tracy

While their time together on the show is short, the few scenes together prove that she is Ted’s soulmate. They are the same person, and have an amazing, yet short, marriage.

Barney and Robin

Personally, I think this is the relationship that should have stayed together. Never in my wildest dreams when I first watched the show would I think Barney and Robin would date, let alone get married. However, I loved their relationship from start to finish, and am still bitter about the way things ended between them.

Marshall and Lily

This will always be my favorite couple. Despite the slip up in season 2, they are always together, and always in love. You can tell that “Marshmallow” and “Lilypad” truly care for each other, and they really are best friends. Their relationship is one for the books.

Netflix, don't take this away from us, please.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
