1. The realization that midterms are in one week.
Oh heck no.
2. And that you haven’t done anything to prepare for them.
Whoops…again.
3. So you compensate for not studying by outlining the 4+ papers you still need to write.
One paper about that general education course you don’t care about, another on marketing, one that is worth 50% of your grade and…why does math require a paper?
4. Now that you have done .5% of the work that you need to do, you reward yourself with ice cream, cookies and chips.
Pat yourself on the back... but seriously, get to work.
5. You indulge your coffee addiction again during all the late nights and early mornings in the library.
Coffee, coffee and more coffee!
6. Wait, when was the last time you left the library?
Um...Great question.
7. And when was the last time you changed out of that sweatpants and sweatshirt?
They’re comfortable, okay?
8. Okay, I won’t judge. But would you stop procrastinating?
Jeez, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today.
9. That moment when it’s the Monday of exam week, and you realize that you should’ve studied harder for your first test.
Why is everyone finishing so quickly when I am still on question 4?
10. Or that moment when you know that you studied really well for this exam, and that you really have nothing to worry about.
You’re going to be fine. We’re doing great.
12. The happiness you feel when scrolling through your 20-page paper, and saying to yourself, “Yes, I did that!”
Look at you go!
13. The stress before the last and hardest test, which is on the last day before freedom.
So close!
14. And finally, the relief of spring break when it’s all over.
Treat yourself. You deserve it.
15. But then you get all of the test scores back afterwards…
Um, yeah, haha. No thank you.
