Recently I found this webcomic that is drawn by the lovely Moga. Her artwork is beautiful and she illustrates several ideas and concepts that gives us a truthful interpretation at life. From how it’s always easier to paint your nails with your dominant hand to eating an entire bag of chips in one sitting. Here are some of my favorites that she’s produced.
The best thing about her comics is how relatable they are. I couldn't even count how many times I've eaten an entire bag of chips by accident.
Hello allergies! My allergies suck. I don't even know what fresh spring air smells like because usually I can't even smell to begin with. I become a perpetual mouth breather from March to June.
Again with the allergy theme. I love cats but my allergies don't. This is an accurate portrayal of every time I see a feline friend.
Lets be honest, this has happened to all of us. You put yourself through torture all night to try and finish an assignment, you get no sleep, and by morning you have caffeine shakes from all the coffee that you consumed to try and stay up.
This is literally the worst thing ever when it happens. I'll set my alarm late at night before bed and won't even notice that it's set to PM instead of AM. I wake up late, rush through my morning, and then ask myself if it's even worth it to go to work or class and if I should just be a professional bum instead.
Not only are her comics relatable, but they also promote body positivity. This particular comic has a special place in my heart. I love how she is reading magazines about legs and the famed "thigh gap." She looks down at her own legs and doesn't look at any flaws but sees them for what they are. She's in love with how strong her legs are and finds positivity within there.
I've given up on painting my nails for this reason alone. In fact, how she's portrayed this is actually better than what I can accomplish when I try to paint with my left hand. The accuracy of this comic hurts.
I literally only do laundry when there's nothing left. It takes all day and my procrastination has no bounds. Her hordes of laundry that she's depicted in this comic speaks to my soul.
This is another positivity one that I absolutely adore. I love the message that it sends. You don't have to run a 5k or get perfect grades to have worthy ambitions. Sometimes taking care of yourself is the worthiest ambition of them all.
If this aint the truth. I'm a sweaty mess after every workout and I'm definitely not picture perfect.
I feel a similar feeling of accomplishment when I call to order a pizza.
I'm so happy that I found her webcomics online and I definitely recommend checking more of them out. Here are some of my favorites that she's produced that I've seen so far. She's a fantastic artist and I can't wait to see more of what she does!
