It’s the moment we have all been waiting for.
The notorious Red Hot Chili Peppers are back and better than ever.
The world is being #blessed with another album after five years of waiting.
On Thursday, "Dark Necessities," the second track on the album, was gifted to the public.
With the ever wavering sound of this guiding group, the sound of this album in its entirety could be anywhere from "Mother’s Milk" to "Stadium Arcadium." Honestly, who knows?
The LP was produced by Danger Mouse and mixed by Radiohead producer and long-time collaborator, Nigel Godrich.
It’s gonna be golden.

It has been ages since this group released a studio album and we have been getting anxious. One reason for this delay had to do with the fact that bassist, Flea, went snowboarding and broke his arm when they were supposed to start recording. Ballers gonna ball and Flea went and did just that. Hoop number one: one-armed bassist.
Hoop number two emerged shortly thereafter. Though the group wrote 20-30 songs pre-recording time, Brian Burton of Danger Mouse, told them to scrap it and start fresh. Burton, being the producer, had the final say in the matter, though it caused some distress among the group.
Though there was some initial pushback, trust in the producer was the most important, so Kiedis & Co. caved and tried it out. We will just have to wait and see what the combination of artists comes up with.
The group will be touring in Europe for the summer along with a few dates in the U.S. in California and Ohio, you lucky Buckeyes, you.
The album is expected to be released on June 17.
Stay tuned.
