Traveling is something so many people do throughout the year, and it is something to look forward to. I have been traveling since I was little, and it has become something I love to do. When someone asks me my favorite vacation, I find it hard to answer. I love every place I visit.
This is why I love to travel:
The views are breathtaking. I went to Alaska last summer, and looking out in the ocean and seeing glaciers was amazing. We don't have the opportunity to see this around us back home. Being on a cruise and going out on deck when the sun is setting is another view I will never forget.
Traveling brings happiness. When I travel I am always so happy and smiley. With all the fun and relaxing things you're doing, how could you not? Whenever vacation is over I find myself wanting it to begin all over again.
Traveling memories are some memories I will never forget. So many of my memories throughout my life are made when on vacation. Last year, when I went to Disney, there was this one ride my sister and I rode a million times. We laughed so hard because of how many times we went on this one ride. I was also hypnotized once when I was on a cruise, it was such a fun time. Both of these are memories I will never forget.
Traveling gives you a new perspective. When you go on a cruise, you don't have reception. So for this week, I can't talk to my friends, which makes me miss them and appreciate them more. Also, being in a place you've never been to before, with just your family or friends, makes you appreciate what you have and where you are a lot more. Sometimes my biggest decisions have been made when I'm on vacation.
It gives you something to look forward to. Even when vacation is a year away, I have a countdown going. The night before vacation I can't sleep just because I'm so excited to go. A week or two before, if I'm stressed out, I know it will all be fine because vacation is approaching soon.
You get to experience a new culture. There are places I've traveled to where they speak a different language, they eat different types of food or they're environment is different. It's cool to experience something that we aren't used. My nana and sister tried snail on a cruise once, that's something they normally wouldn't do in Pennsylvania.
Tons of souvenirs. Who doesn't like to bring home tons of stuff from vacations?! Being on vacation gives you a great excuse to spend because you won't find this stuff at home.
I love traveling so much. Whenever one vacation is over I'm already asking about the next one. There are so many more places I want to go around the world. I have traveled to many places from Disney, to Hawaii and even Alaska. But there are still so many more places I want to go and I can't wait. Traveling has become a big part of my life and I love it.
