Make-up is something I’ve loved to wear for as long as I could remember. It not only helps me feel more beautiful and confident, but is also a fun hobby of mine. Unlike many people, instead of watching movies on rainy nights I like to watch YouTube videos for new make-up looks and products. That’s just what I love to do.
Although I love to buy and wear make-up, I’ve come to realize I don’t actually need it. Nobody actually needs it. It’s all about preference. Whether you own and wear zero make-up or own and wear thousands of different products, you're not wrong.
Personally, during the week when going to work and school I usually wear zero make-up because I would so much rather an extra thirty minutes of sleep meanwhile when I go out on the weekends or for an event I could take hours to get dolled up. I kind of think of the weekdays as my make-up detox. I not only give myself a few days for my skin to rejuvenate, but I also prove to myself and others that I can be beautiful with or without make-up.
Whether you wear make-up everyday, rock it. Or whether you never wear make-up, rock it. Do what makes you feel happy and comfortable, not just to please those around you and fit in with society.
