Chick-fil-A is a universal language of love. Okay, so maybe that is exaggerating a little bit, but you cannot deny that when it comes to fast food, Chick-fil-A is one of the elites. I could list dozens of reasons that I believe Chick-fil-A is so great, but I'm gonna try to narrow it down to a few of my favorites.

1. Ice Cream

If you know me, you know Chick-fil-A ice cream is the way to my heart. Chick-fil-A's "ice dream" is the closest I have found to my grandmother's homemade vanilla ice cream. As much as I love chocolate, Chick-fil-A takes vanilla ice cream to a new level. Call me crazy, but I'll take a CFA ice cream cone over Baskin Robbins ANYDAY!

2. Mobile Ordering

Oh, the wonders of technology! Sometimes technology can be annoying, but Chick-fil-A has used technology for the good of mankind. They have an amazing app that can be downloaded onto your smartphone!

Through the app, I have ordered my meal, drove to Chick-fil-A, and parked for them to bring my meal directly to my car. Talk about amazing! It may not seem like that big of a deal, but it is perfect for rainy or sick days when you want Chick-fil-A and want to stay inside as much as possible.

Another great feature of the app is that I earn points with each time I order on the app or scan my phone at the register. I can redeem my points from a wide variety of foods on the menu-from an ice cream cone to an 8 count of nuggets.

3. Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit

The Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuit is an iconic menu item at every Chick-fil-A. If you're lucky and smart enough to get there before 10:30 A.M., you've got to get your hands on one of these. The hand-battered chicken on a buttermilk biscuit baked fresh each morning is hard to beat.

I'm not even gonna try to copycat this recipe. I'm going in for the real thing.

4. Closed on Sunday

When you're driving to Chick-fil-A and you realize it's Sunday.

So, this is actually one of the best and worst things about Chick-fil-A.

It is absolutely great that Chick-fil-A continues to honor its founder Truett Cathy and his beliefs. According to the official Chick-fil-A website "Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose - a practice we uphold today."

As a Christian, I find this so heartening. I have experienced the struggle of looking for a summer job that would still allow me to attend church on Sunday. While I often complain about the inconvenience of not being able to have Chick-fil-A when the cravings hit on a Sunday, knowing why they are closed makes it a little easier.

Yet, isn't it funny that we all seem to get the strongest craving for Chick-fil-A on Sundays!

5. Waffle Fries

Fries. Beautiful Fries. Even if you aren't crazy about fries, you have to admit that Chick-fil-A is on their A-game when it comes to fries.

Chick-fil-A's waffle fries present the potato in its best form! It takes a boring russet potato from a 1 to a 10!

6. Hospitality

Jason Myers' said it best with his well-known music video. Whenever I go into Chick-fil-A, most of the time it appears as though everyone is genuinely happy to be there. It is more than just "Southern Hospitality;" Chick-fil-A workers are so compassionate and helpful, for the most part.

Once, I ordered my meal at Chick-fil-A and suddenly realized I had no cash with me. I was not sure if my card had enough money, but I asked the cashier to try it anyway. When he handed it back to me saying it had declined, I told him just to cancel my order. Yet, he just told me not to worry about it. I asked if he was sure, but he would not let me leave without my food.

Of course, when I thanked him, he simply said, "my pleasure."

If you have not figured it out by now, I am a Chick-fil-A fanatic. This place is hard not to love. From their great service to their even greater food, Chick-fil-A brings joy to the fast-food world.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
