Bangs have been a hairstyle staple since forever, and if you were a kid in the ‘90s you were probably rocking the Mary-Kate and Ashley-esque look. But with any good hairstyle comes those dreaded bad hair days. While some of us left our fringe in the past, others decided to revive our childhood ‘dos, for better or worse. If you’re one of those people who decided to bring them back, you’ll relate to these 11 struggles.

1. When you first get them cut and have no idea how to style them

'

You know what I’m talking about.

3. The days when you style them perfectly only to step outside and have the wind mess them up

Seriously? I spent an hour perfecting these!

4. When you try to straighten or blow-dry them and they burn off

You will never forget the smell of burnt hair.

5. The day after you wash them when they stick every which way

Why can't you just pick a direction and stick with it?

6. When you get them trimmed and they end up way too short

Oh, no. No no no.

7. On those days when they just don't agree with you

Looks like it's a hat day after all.

8. When they grow out, but they're still not long enough to style

What am I supposed to do with you?

9. When they stick directly into your eyeball

OK, ow?

10. When you get caught in the rain and end up with those stringy pieces stuck to your forehead

Not the look I was going for...

11. But every once in a while, there will be a day where they look absolutely amazing and you feel like a star

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
