Whether or not they're a hoax, or a real freaky truth, the clowns that have been surfacing around the United States have left us all on our toes. Going out for a late night walk with your friends suddenly does sound like a good idea. A college campus seems to need a little bit more security and you double check the locked door at night. So, are these creepy dressed clowns real, or just another hoax?
These clown sightings have spread across the nation, causing a spook throughout our homes. Sightings have been reported in about 5 states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky. Talking these sightings over with my friends, I haven't decided whether or not to take it seriously, because it would be illogical not to. Either way, they have been causing the attention that they are striving for. Going to a university and hearing the rumors about these clowns showing up by Mens Village, a Baptist Church and an confirmed sighting by the Green River Lake, the students have been on high alert when it comes to 8 p.m.
There is some truth to these clown rumors, to an extent. There have been an arrest in Kentucky after dressing up as a clown in a wooded area lurking around an apartment building at about 1:00 a.m. In Kentucky it is not illegal to dress up, but it is when it is meant for intent to harm or alert others.
In Glasgow, Kentucky, there have been several sightings, and this have prompted the police to give a warning to the locals that they are standing in parks and city streets. Pulaski County, Kentucky have had a minimum of three reports of clowns acting sketchy. Greenville are have had sightings as well, so it looks like it has stayed in Southern Kentucky.
If it's true or not, our worst nightmare is becoming closer and closer to reality. Twisty from the hit TV show American Horror Story is not as out of reach as it was 6 months ago. So, until these clowns have stopped posing a threat to the states, keep your eyes open and your range wide.
