March is National Reading Month, so as an avid reader and book club founder I must encourage reading to all. I know a lot of people don't have time to or find it boring to read, but here's your excuse to read. So many books are being made into movies, so here's a list of books with movie adaptations this year.


1. The Commuter and Exhibit Piece — Jan. 16

This isn’t a movie, but an anthology series called "Electric Dreams." This series will be available on Amazon video.

2. Vulgar Favors — Jan. 17

"The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" is another TV show based on a book.

3. Forever My Girl — Jan. 19

Book one in the "Beaumont" series.

4. Horse Soldiers (12 Strong) — Jan. 19

5. The Leisure Seeker — Jan. 19

6. The Alienist — Jan. 22

The show by the same name is aired in TNT.

7. Opheilia — Jan. 23

8. The Death Cure — Jan. 26

9. Fifty Shades Freed — Feb. 9

10. Peter Rabbit — Feb. 9

11. Annihilation — Feb. 23

It's a TV show, but still worth the watch.

15. Red Sparrow — March 2

"Red Sparrow" is the first book in the "Red Sparrow" series. It’s about a Russian ballerina, Dominika Egorova who is forced to become a spy, or also known as Sparrow. This thriller will keep you on the end of your seat form beginning to end, and the movie adaptation will do the same.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
