8 Very Real Reactions to Beyonce's Grammys Performance, Told By The Queen Herself
Vanity Fair

Beyoncé, Queen B, God herself. She did it again. I can't even lie and say I was surprised she waltzed her way onto the Grammys stage because she does EVERYTHING out of nowhere. Dropping albums, movies to accompany albums, music videos, baby announcements, performances, world tours, etc. She does it all within the blink of an eye, and to be honest I still have whiplash from her dropping LEMONADE. The queen graced us with her presence yet again Sunday night and it has been described as beautiful, powerful, moving, blah blah. Of course it was beautiful, of course it was powerful, she's Beyoncé. It was simply iconic. Well, everything she does is iconic.

You and I both know I still haven't recovered from the performance, but I am somehow able to recall just some of the countless reactions I had to her Grammys performance.

1. Before she even started singing..

I was overwhelmed before the music even started so no, I wasn't ready.

2. The artistry

Say what you will about Queen B, but there is no denying the fact that she is a true artist. The vision and execution of this particular performance is no exception.

3. FEMALE EMPOWERMENT

"Your mother is a woman, and women like her can't be contained."

4. When the first beats of "Love Drought" came in

That. Is. My. Song.

5. Going to Tweet halfway through and seeing people hate on the performance

Blocked and reported.

6. Every Beyoncé stan on the face of the Earth right now

Hi, yes, that is my queen thank you.

7. Questioning literally everything

Beyoncé did THAT. Not that, THAT. Do I even know my own name? What day is it?

8. To everyone ridiculing the most ICONIC performance at the 2017 Grammys

The door is that way.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
