From 2001 to 2011, there was one film franchise that always dominated the cinema world, and that franchise was the "Harry Potter" franchise. But how are they ranked? Well, I'm going to do my best to do just that: rank these films with 8 being the lowest and 1 being the highest. So, with that, let's begin with number 8. Obvious warning: spoilers ahead!!!

8. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1"

Basically, this movie is Harry, Ron, and Hermione learning about what the Deathly Hallows are and searching for Horcruxes (pieces of Voldemort's soul).

7. "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"

Voldemort has returned after the events of the fourth film, and it seems the whole wizarding world is against Harry. Harry overcomes this adversity to train his friends in order for them to be able to defend themselves from dark wizards and witches. And Harry suffers another heavy loss as his godfather Sirius Black is killed.

6. "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"

Flying cars, a well-meaning house elf, and a mysterious chamber is what awaits Harry in the second film of this series. Harry is warned not to return to Hogwarts for his second year but he goes back anyway. He unravels even more information about Voldemort by way of a mysterious diary from a former student named Tom Riddle. And, plot twist, Tom Marvolo Riddle is an anagram for "I am Lord Voldemort." And I remember reading this when I was a kid and I was just absolutely blown away.

5. "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"

The first film in the series follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they meet for the first time and embark on a magical adventure that includes uncovering secrets about the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry winning his first Quidditch match, and learning the first steps to becoming a wizard.

4. "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince"

In the sixth film, Harry learns about Horcruxes and helps Dumbledore find one. Dumbledore is killed by Snape in a tear-jerking fashion and Harry decides to leave Hogwarts to hunt down the remaining Horcruxes.

3. "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"

Two reasons why this film is so high on the list: the Triwizard Tournament and Voldemort returning.

2. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"

This is probably the most underrated film in the series but it's truly a great film because of the change in tone that it undertakes. Plus, we meet Harry's godfather Sirius Black.

1. "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2"

Yep. Part 1 kicked off this list and now Part 2 will close it out as the best Harry Potter film in the series. The majority of this film is set at Hogwarts unlike Part 1. It's the ultimate battle and we get front row seats to the final duel between Harry Potter and Voldemort. The last of the Horcruxes is destroyed and Harry finds out he must die because he is the Horcrux that Voldemort didn't intend to create. Harry comes back to life due to one of the Deathly Hallows and he finally puts an end to Voldemort once and for all. And to close the film, we get a look at the future of Harry, Ron, and Hermione as their children board the Hogwarts Express to attend the magical school.

Ultimately, I believe all of the films are great and this list was really hard to create, but there probably won't be another story that took the world by storm like Harry Potter did and for that, we can all be thankful.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
