Every group of friends runs into the problem of not knowing what to do with their time together. There's a constant back and forth of "I don't know, what do you want to do?" and "I don't care, you pick", and you end up wasting half an hour asking the same questions over and over again and accomplish nothing. There's plenty of suggestions out there, but sometimes they all say the same thing, and you just need something simple. Here are some completely random things you can do to entertain yourselves.
1. Take a group nap.
Everyone needs a nap. Everyone likes hanging out with friends. So why not have the best of both worlds? Grab a blanket and pile into one dorm room and just sleep! You get to spend time with your favorite people and get a few more of those ever important Zzz's.
2. Find a random trail in the middle of the woods and see where it takes you.
Getting fresh air is always a good thing, and there’s something peaceful about being in the woods. You might get lost, but you also might find something you never thought you’d see. Sounds like some pretty awesome memories if you ask me.
3. Visit a graveyard in the middle of the night.
If you believe in ghosts, it’s a good time to have a chat with a dead person. If you don’t, it’s a nice place to sit and remember those who have lost their lives. I find that a stroll in the dark with a good group of friends is very peaceful and relaxing. And you’re less likely to get spooked if you have all your friends with you to keep you safe. Also, if that graveyard has a witch’s grave in it, it’s even more spooky.
4. Take every possible BuzzFeed quiz that is on the internet.
Trust me, this will take up a lot more time than I care to admit. And hey, who doesn’t want to know which "Friends" character you are, or what kind of bread represents your personality? (I got Chandler and Hawaiian Roll.) It’s also fun to compare your results with your friends, to see just how similar you guys actually are.
5. Get matching mugs from Target
Target has everything. Mugs happen to be one of those things, and if you have $5 and a love for coffee, just get a mug that matches your best friends. Plus, you get another mug to hold your latest addiction.
6. Pumpkin/water bottle bowling
In the fall, there seems to be an excess amount of pumpkins and plastic water bottles lying around with no purpose, so why not create a use for them! Set up the water bottles like pins and use a pumpkin as a bowling ball.
