Quinn XCII is a twenty-five-year-old musician from Detroit, Michigan. His name originates from an acronym his professor used in college that goes “Quit Unless Instincts are Never Neglected.” The artist tells Fuse TV that it means to pursue anything you love and that you have nothing inside of you telling you to stop. The “XCII” part of his name comes from the year he was born, 1992. Some of his biggest influences include Kanye West, Motown, and Jon Bellion.

In late June, Quinn performed at Chicago’s very own Mamby On The Beach festival. His performance made the festival even better than it already was. The festival took place on a beach and his performance brought some good beach vibes to the listeners. He had some hardcore fans rocking with him in the front row. Meanwhile, he gained a lot of new fans after his incredible performance. His energy during the set was unlike any other artist that performed during the festival. I was able to capture a few photos of his performance which is pictured below!

Quinn is a unique artist and that can be hard to find with the excessive amount of music available today. With so many streaming platforms available, Quinn has used several platforms to build an organic fan base. His interest in creating music began towards the end of his high school years. Quinn became serious about a career in music while attending Michigan State University. Numerous trips to Ann Arbor to work on original content with his friend and producer ayokay has had a significant impact on his career in the long run. His success did not come overnight like some may believe. It’s clear that hard work and dedication has launched him into a career in the music industry.

It’s only a matter of time until people around the world are hearing Quinn’s music. After months of listening to him and seeing him perform live, the only thing I see from him is greatness. There are thousands upon thousands of people trying to be successful in the music industry. In this day in age, it’s not easy to build a career off of music but Quinn is doing all of the right things to achieve his dreams. He’s been touring, releasing new music, and building a fan base from the ground up.

Quinn has been consistently releasing content for years now. Over time, his fan base has grown and become a solid platform for him. Quinn is currently preparing for the release of his debut album that is expected to drop this fall. In 2017, he has released two singles “Make Time” and “Fake Denim.” Both tracks can be found on all streaming platforms and are worth the listen.

Quinn and his producer Ayokay have been working together for many years now. The relationship started very organically and bloomed into some amazing collaborations. The two artists continue to work together and create music together. Stop sleeping on these guys and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
