August is officially here and some pretty fantastic albums will be making their debut!

Between the return of Alkaline Trio (I'm still not over that one) to the identity crisis WSTR is about to have, these five releases are going to be must-have albums on your playlist!

1. Alkaline Trio - Is This Thing Cursed?

Alkaline Trio have officially returned.

The band recently dropped their latest single "Blackbird," in addition to announcing their comeback album “Is This Thing Cursed?” The new release marks the band's first album since 2013 album, “My Shame Is True.”

The British punks in As It Is will be reviving 2000s emo with their upcoming release. No, really.

The band recently announced that the release of their forthcoming album, “The Great Depression,” will be out on Aug. 10. The band's upcoming release is set to be a follow-up to 2017's “Okay.”
