Yes, I know I complain/talk about Diabetes a lot, but people need to understand it isn't a joke and it's nothing to mess with.
Just earlier this week one of the girls who sits with my friends and I at lunch, came up to me and asked if I had any games on my Omnipod. She continued to pick it up and hold it. Now, me not being a person to take situations with a grain of salt, got all angry. I looked up at her and asked her if she was serious. She laughed, put it down, and walked away.
I am still a little mad about it, but people don't understand that medical devices/supplies for anyone isn't a toy or part of your joke. How would you feel if someone picked up your inhaler and acted like it was a Juul or pretended to need it? It's not cool. Just don't touch others belongings. We've all learned that in Kindergarten. It's common courtesy to keep to yourself. -R.U.
